OUR

MISSION

The mission of Trojan Robotics is to expand stem programs in Carrollton and create the next generation of critical thinkers, innovators, and inventors.

Trojan Robotics is a 9th-12th grade high school program consisting of (to be determined) students. Our mission is to create more STEM opportunities for young students in their pre-high-school and high school careers.

Our in-school robotics classes and robotics clubs will help empower our future thinkers.

GUARANTEEING OUR TEAM'S SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

From sub-team organization to machine learning, we strive every day to constantly learn and improve ourselves to better our community and get ready for industry standards. By developing ourselves into critical thinkers and problem solvers, we set ourselves up to sustain our team through community engagement and expand STEM to underserved and underrepresented populations.

EXPANDING STEM EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

We hope to sustain Trojan Robotics through community outreach events by exposing younger students and families to the world of robotics in local events, and possibly even help middle schools kickstart their own robotics clubs. We strive to set these young engineers up for success in their desired STEM field. We also hope to keep our team sustainable by inspiring students to join FIRST at a young age and continue to the FRC program in high school. Once we guarantee team sustainability, Trojan Robotics can continue to expand STEM to underserved and underrepresented populations.

DEVELOP CRITICAL THINKERS AND PROBLEM SOLVERS

Trojan Robotics aspires to make STEM universal. Through participating in middle school outreach events, we advocate to create opportunities for all students in STEM and integrate STEM into education at a national level. Once we expand STEM to underserved and underrepresented populations, we can ultimately achieve our mission to demand more STEM opportunities for young students within their high school and post-high school careers and encourage a culture that values STEM.
